Two Pakistani soldiers and 6 militants  killed in a clash on the border with Afghanistan

Islamabad (ST): The Pakistani army announced the death of two of its soldiers, as well as the killing of six militants during confrontations between the two sides.

The army said in a statement today, carried by Sputnik agency, that the incident occurred during confrontations in the border province of Waziristan with Afghanistan.

A Pakistani soldier was killed last week in battles between security forces and militants in North Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northwest Pakistan.
