Two murals of the most prominent landmarks of Damascus implemented under Victoria Bridge

The plastic artist Omar Al-Madani is about to finish painting two murals under Victoria Bridge, in cooperation with the Governorate of Damascus.

The two paintings, which were implemented on the concrete columns of the bridge, depict the most prominent features of the historical and contemporary city of Damascus, in a realistic style and with bright colors that attract attention.

About the idea of the two paintings, Al- Madani said: I submitted an initiative to the Damascus governorate to implement a number of wall paintings in several areas of the city of Damascus, and the idea was received and welcomed by the governorate, while ensuring the provision of all work requirements, and the beginning was with these two paintings.

Al-Madani explained that the aim of these murals is to show the beauty and nobility of the historical and contemporary landmarks of Damascus, while contributing to beautifying public facilities and adding artistic touches to them.

The artist Omar Al-Madani is known for his heritage paintings specialized in the city of Damascus. He has two solo exhibitions, and several participations in local group exhibitions.
