Two Iraqi officers were killed in a terrorist attack in northern Iraq

On June 11th, two Iraqi officers were killed and three Iraqi soldiers were wounded, as a result of a terrorist attack targeting a security point in the northern province of Kirkuk.

The Security Media Cell stated that terrorist elements attacked with light and medium weapons a point belonging to the 32nd Brigade of the 8th Division of the Iraqi army near the village of Tal al-Ward in the al-Multaqa district in the Dibis district of Kirkuk governorate.

The attack caused the death of two officers, one of them with the rank of lieutenant colonel, and the other with the rank of first lieutenant, and three soldiers were wounded.
