Two drones launched by terrorists destroyed over Hmeimim air base

Lattakia – The Russian Ministry of Defense announced Friday that it foiled a new attack on its air base in Hmeimim in Lattakia province which the terrorist groups tried to launch from the areas where they are positioned in Lattakia northern countryside through two drones.

Head of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim Alexei Tsygankov said that the air defense units at the Hmeimim air base destroyed two aerial targets at a safe distance from the base, SANA reported.

Tsygankov indicating that no casualties or material damages have been detected and operations were not disrupted.
