A landmine, left behind by ISIS terrorists, exploded on Saturday in Jabal Abu Rijmen, 50 km north of Palmyra, claiming the lives of two civilians and wounding another.
Director of Palmyra National Hospital Walid Oudeh told SANA reporter that the emergency team provided the injured civilian with necessary medical services before he was transferred to a hospital in Homs city, pointing out that the injured person suffered from deep wounds in the chest as well as from some fractions in his body.
Before their defeat in the towns and villages they controlled, the terrorist organizations planted mines and explosive devices on roads and in agricultural lands to impede the Syrian army’s progress in the battle against terrorism.
