Two civilians martyred, 9 injured in shelling attack in Damascus

Damascus – Two persons were martyred in a new violation of the de-escalation zone agreement in the Eastern Ghouta.

A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that the armed groups positioned in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus targeted Bab Sharqi area with two mortar shells, leaving two persons dead and nine injured and causing material damage.

The source added that the armed groups also fired a number of shells on the areas of al-Abbassiyin and al-Shaghour, causing material damage.
