Two children and 4 patients martyred as a result of Israeli bombing of hospital in northern Gaza Strip
Two children and 4 patients were martyred today as a result of the Israeli occupation’s bombing of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.
Palestinian media reported that the occupation bombed the third floor of the hospital, which led to the burning of a medicine and medical supplies warehouse and the complete cessation of surgical operations services.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health said: Two children and 4 patients were martyred as a result of the occupation’s bombing of the hospital, noting that the number of martyrs in the northern Gaza Strip during the past 25 days has risen to more than 1,200.
The ministry noted that the occupation continues to commit massacres and target shelters, and besieges thousands of Palestinians in the north and isolates them from the rest of Gaza Strip, indicating that the occupation has been preventing the entry of aid and medical supplies into northern Gaza for 27 days.
In turn, the Civil Defense in Gaza indicated that its services were forcibly suspended in all areas of the northern Gaza Strip due to the ongoing Israeli aggression, and thousands of Palestinians in the area are without humanitarian and medical care, calling on the international community to intervene urgently to enable the crews to perform their humanitarian duty.
The occupation forces also blew up residential buildings in Jabalia camp and shelled homes in Beit Lahia with artillery, which led to the martyrdom and injury of a number of Palestinians, while the occupation soldiers advanced towards Tel al-Zaatar and Tel al-Rabi schools in Beit Lahia, and forced the displaced people present in the schools to leave and evacuate them.
As part of its targeting of the health sector, the occupation forces fired towards the Indonesian Hospital and the surrounding area north of Jabalia camp.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that the number of victims of the ongoing occupation aggression on Gaza Strip for more than a year had risen to 43,163 martyrs and 101,510 wounded.
