Two child siblings martyred in the explosion of a landmine left behind by ISIS terrorists in AlBukamal

Two child siblings were martyred as a result of the explosion of a landmine left by ISIS terrorists in the city of Albukamal in the southeastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

Head of the Albukamal City Council, Jubal Al-Sayer, said in a statement to SANA a reporter that the mine was located in one of the abandoned buildings in the Inshaat neighbourhood, and its explosion led to the death of two children aged 10 and 12 years.

Terrorist organizations planted mines and explosive devices between homes, roads and agricultural lands before they were defeated, with the intention of causing the greatest possible damage to civilians who had returned to their areas liberated from terrorism, or to intimidate citizens and prevent them from returning.
