Turkish regime sentences 92 persons to life in prison

Ankara, (ST) – A court affiliated with the Turkish regime on Wednesday sentenced 92 persons to life in prison under the pretext of their involvement in the 2016 coup attempt.

Turkish media reported that 12 people were sentenced to hard life imprisonment and 80 others to life imprisonment, noting that among those sentenced was the former General Adem Boduroglu, the head of operations of the Turkish Land Forces.

It is noteworthy that the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who subjected the judiciary to his orders, turned Turkey into  a prison and a large detention center. In this detention center there are large numbers of opponents from various civil, military and media institutions who were arrested and tens of thousands of civil servants, judges and military personnel who were also  arrested and dismissed from their jobs under the pretext of supporting the protests and their association with the attempted coup.
