Turkish Regime Seeks Harboring Perpetrators of Massacres against Syrian People: Turkish MP

ANKARA, (ST)- Deputy Leader of the Turkish Republican People’s Party Tekin Bingol has criticized the silence of the Turkish regime over the massacres committed by the Turkish-backed “Ahrar al-Sham” terrorist group against the Syrian people, attributing this negative stance to sectarian reasons.

In a statement on Tuesday, Bingol uncovered attempt by the Turkish regime and the government of the Justice and Development Party  to harbor perpetrators of massacres in Syria and to provide them with shelters in “refugee camps” set in Marash province in southeastern Turkey.

He warned of the danger of the Turkish regime’s policies on the security of Turkey.

“The state that can’t protect its borders can’t protect its citizens,” he said, noting that the blasts which hit Ankara, Istanbul and other Turkish cities prove this.

The Turkish MP said that “ignoring the terrorists’ moves and activities across borders with Syria will lead Turkey to a more sectarian era led by a government that feeds on terrorism.
