ANKARA, (ST)- Vice President of the Turkish opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Vice President of the Turkish opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Unal Cevikoz has stressed that the Turkish regime’s polices pose a threat to the entire region because they are based on supporting terrorist organizations.

In a press conference on Wednesday, Cevikoz said that the Turkish regime has supported terrorists in Syria and now it is supporting terrorism in Libya through a private company, owned by the regime’s military advisor, which provides training to the terrorists and sends them secretly to Libya to fight alongside Turkish-baked extremist groups against the Libyan army, a behavior that threatens the stability of Libya.

He reiterated the need for regional coordination and cooperation among Syria, Turkey, Iraq and Iran to face foreign challenges and threats.

Cevikoz pointed out that America has committed a grave mistake in assassinating Lt. Genral Qassem Soleimani and his companions, describing the assassination as “a flagrant aggressive act”.
