Turkish regime’s forces fire mortars on agricultural lands in Syria’s Hasaka

HASAKA, (ST)_The Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries have fired mortars on farmers’ agricultural lands in the vicinity of Ras Al-Ayn region in the northwestern Hasaka countryside.

The mortar attack caused fires in the wheat fields in the vicinity of Sekareyeh town to the east of Ras Al-Ayn city, according to local sources.

The sources affirmed that deliberately the Turkish occupation forces burn the wheat fields to put pressure on Syrian residents with the aim of forcing them to leave their areas.

Over the past weeks, the Turkish regime’s forces and mercenaries burnt hundreds of dunums of wheat and barley fields in Hasaka province.
