Turkish regime incessant aggression won’t succeed in reviving the terrorist organizations: Foreign Ministry

DAMASCUS, (ST)- The Turkish regime continues its aggression on Syrian territories through deploying more troops in Idleb as well as in the countryside of Idelb and Aleppo and through targeting residential areas and some military points, an official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said on Tuesday.

The source added that the Turkish procedures aim at saving its affiliated terrorist groups which are being defeated as the Syrian Arab Army liberates more areas from terrorism.

Syria reiterates its complete refusal of any Turkish military presence on Syrian territories as it is a flagrant violation of international law and Syria’s sovereignty and it contradicts Astana and Sochi agreements on the de-escalation zone in Idleb, the source stressed.

According to the source, these Turkish violations affirm Erdogan’s insistence on disrespecting his pledges and in behaving as an outlaw regime.

Syria calls on the international community to adopt a decisive stance to stop the Turkish regime’s aggressive behavior and halt its limitless support for terrorism in Syria and Libya, the source said.

Syria also reiterates that these acts of aggression won’t succeed in reviving the terrorist organizations and that the Syrian army will continue to hunt down the remnants of terrorist groups until it reestablishes full control over the entire Syrian territory, the source concluded.
