Turkish parties and personalities: Erdogan did not learn from the failure of his policies in Syria

On October 7, vice president of the Turkish Republican People’s Party (CHP) Anakin Ozkog said that Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has not learned lessons from the failure of his policies in Syria and his big role in fueling the crisis in the country.

Ozkog stated that the cooperation between Erdogan and US President Donald Trump regarding Daesh terrorists in the region is a dangerous act that threatens the security of Turkey.

For his part, Member of the Parliament of the Turkish Republican People’s Party Sazkin Tanrikulu said that  that the Turkish regime’s plan to attack the Syrian territory aims to occupy the so-called ‘safe zone’ and hand it  over to Daesh,  Jabhat al-Nusra and other terrorist organizations in Syria.

“This is a new occupation of Syrian territory,” Tanrikulu said.

The Turkish journalist Daria Sazak stressed that the plots of the Turkish regime in eastern Syria is an occupation of the territory of another country. 

The Turkish Communist Party condemned the Turkish regime’s plan to attack Syrian territory in the Al-Jazeera region in collusion with the United States.

“ What Ankara is doing is an extension of its aggressive expansionist policy in Syria and a violation of all international laws that Turkey has not adhered to since the beginning of the Syrian crisis,” the Turkish Communist Party said in a statement.

The statement called on the United States and the Turkish regime to stop their attacks on the Syrian people.

The vice president of the Turkish Republican People’s Party Faeq Oztrak   described the agreement announced by the Turkish and US occupiers on the attack on Syria as a dangerous act.

On October 7, the White House announced in a statement released after a telephone conversation between Trump and Erdogan that the Turkish regime will soon will attack the Syrian territories and that US occupation forces will not support the attacked Turkish forces.
