Turkish opposition: Erdogan responsible for bloodshed in Syria

Deputy Head of the Turkish opposition Republican People’s Party Veli Ağbaba has affirmed that President of the Turkish regime Recep Tayyib Erdogan has committed a grave mistake in Syria due to his blatant and direct intervention in this country since the beginning of the crisis.

During a Turkish Parliament session, Ağbaba said that Erdogan is responsible for the bloodshed in Syria, pointing out that his interventionist policy in Syria has negatively affected the country and led to massive destruction countrywide.

He warned that this intervention will at the end lead to the destruction of Turkey.

He reiterated that the Syrian refugee crisis is a direct result of Erdogan’s intervention in Syria, stressing that Erdogan is responsible for the suffering of the Syrian refugees and for the dangers they are being exposed to, particularly as he exploited the refugees file to blackmail the European Union.

Ağbaba also condemned Erdogan’s wish to establish friendly ties with the Israeli occupation entity despite his continuous claims about defending the Palestinian cause.
