ALEPPO, (ST)_Turkish-backed terrorist mercenaries have continued their criminal acts against the people in the northern countryside of Aleppo, where they launched a campaign of arrests and kidnapped civilians and blackmailed their families to pay ransom to release in Afrin region.

According to local sources, the Turkish-backed terrorist groups affiliated to the so-called “Al-Sham Legion”, “Military Police” and “Mohammed Al-Fateh faction” raided houses in Jamla village in Jindires district in Afrin region and Maamlo village in Ma’batli district in the northern countryside of Aleppo and kidnapped five civilians, including two brothers .

The sources added that the raids coincided with shooting to intimidate families, especially children and women, before the terrorists kidnapped civilians, in order to blackmail their families and demand ransom in foreign currency to release them.

In this context, the sources indicated that the terrorists of the so-called “Sultan Murad faction” tortured three elderly people from the village of Qart Qalaq in Afrin region in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

The crimes of the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries come within the framework of their systematic terrorist acts to force the people to leave their houses in order to make a demographic change in the region and to house the terrorists supported by the Turkish regime in the region.
