Turkish occupation, its mercenaries attack residential areas in Raqqa countryside

The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries on Saturday continued with their attacks on residential areas in Raqqa countryside. They shelled the vicinity of the towns of Ein Issa and Tal Abyad as well as the M4 Highway in Raqqa northern countryside, local sources told SANA.

The sources said that the Turkish occupation and the Turkish-backed terrorist groups fired artillery shells on residential neighborhoods in the vicinity of Ein Issa town, the M4 Highway and near al –Sharkouk silos in Tal Abyad town in the northern countryside of Raqqa.

The attacks caused damage to public and private properties as well as to agricultural lands. Fortunately, no civilian casualties were reported, the sources added.

 On May 18th, Turkish-backed terrorists shelled with heavy artillery residential areas in the vicinity of Ein Issa town and the M4 Highway, causing material damage and leading to the displacement of several families which fled towards state-controlled areas.
