Turkish occupation forces continue to cut off drinking water supply to Hasaka city

Hasaka,(ST) – Director General of Water Institute in Hasaka Mahmoud al-Akla said that citizens will be provided with drinking water in Hasaka city and the residential neighborhoods in Tal Tamer by transporting water through tankers from wells of Nafasha and kehal Issafee as the Turkish occupation forces have cut off water to the city for the third say running .

Al-Akla said in a statement to SANA’s reporter that the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries entered on Monday to Alouk water station in Ras al-Ayn countryside, and they stopped water pumping and expelled workers from the station, which led to cutting off drinking water in Hasaka city, Tal Tamer, and the surrounding residential neighborhoods.

He pointed out that efforts are being exerted to resume pumping water from the wells of Alouk as soon as possible.
