Turkish occupation and its mercenaries shell areas in Raqqa northern countryside, several civilians wounded
Scores of civilians were wounded as a result of artillery shelling by the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries on the residential areas in the village of Sayda and the vicinity of Ein Issa town in Raqqa northern countryside and on the roads leading to this town, local sources told SANA on Tuesday.
The shelling also caused damage to the locals’ houses and properties.
Since its aggression on Syrian territories in October, 2019, that led to the occupation of a number of villages, towns and cities in the northern countryside of Raqqa and Hasakah, the Turkish occupation forces and their mercenaries have used these areas to launch attacks on civilians, causing the displacement of thousands of people, whose properties were later looted by the occupation forces and the mercenaries.
