Turkish occupation and its mercenaries continue to loot wheat crops and local’s properties in countryside of Raqqa and Hasaka

RAQQA, HASAKA, (ST)-  The Turkish occupation forces and the affilated mercenary terrorists have continued to steal the wheat crops and the properties of locals in the northern countryside of Raqqa and Hasaka.

The stolen wheat and properties were transferred to Turkish territories via brokers.

According to local sources, the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries displaced the locals  in Tal Abyad area in the northern countryside of Raqqa, looted their wheat crop and properties and transferred them to Turkey.

The sources pointed out that the Turkish occupation and mercenaries imposed levies on farmers during the wheat harvesting days in some areas. They also forced them to sell and ship their production into Turkish territories via Turkish-linked traders and brokers.

 In a relevant context, local sources in Hasaka northern countryside said that the Turkish occupation and mercenaries looted the electrical cables and wires in this area and also stole the irrigation pipelines dedicated for agricultural projects in the countryside of Ras al-Ayn, Tal Tamer and Abu Rasin areas.

The stolen items were sold to  Turkish traders and then shipped to Turkey.

Since its aggression on Syrian territories on October 9th, 2019, the Turkish regime in cooperation with the terrorist mercenaries have been committing crimes, looting the locals’ properties and destroying the infrastructure and service facilities that led to the displacement of a large number of civilians.
