Turkish Occupation Aircrafts attacks Al-Suwaydiya electricity generation facility in the Hasakah countryside

The Turkish occupation aircrafts continued their attacks on infrastructure and service facilities in the Hasakah countryside, where it targeted the power generation station in Suwaydiya with drones, which led to it being out of service.

Director of the General Electricity Company of Al-Hasakah, Engineer Saleh Idris, confirmed to SANA that the electricity generation facility in Suwaydiya was out of service as a result of aTurkish aggression with drones last night which led to major material damage to the facility’s generating turbines.

A field source told SANA that Turkish occupation drones attacked the facility with six air strikes.

Al-Hasakah Electricity Company relies on the amount of electrical current produced at the Suwaydiya Generating Facility to supply service lines excluded from the electrical rationing, water, furnaces, hospitals, and communications to ensure the continued provision of services to citizens.

On Sunday, the Turkish aggression targeted the infrastructure of the electricity sector in the cities of the north, which led to the electricity transfer stations in Qamishli, Amuda, Ad-Darbasiyah, Al-Malikiyah, and Al-Qahtaniyah being out of service.
