The former Turkish Deputy Prime Minister and current member of parliament for the Republican People’s Party, Abd Al-Latif Shenar, confirmed that the policies of the President of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, pose a great danger to the future of Turkey, especially with his continued interference in the internal affairs of Syria, Libya and other countries.
In an interview with “KRT” channel, Shenar said that Erdogan’s policies are hostile to all people without exception and have become a threat to Turkey’s future, internally and externally, as his practices in Syria, Libya and other places continue.
Shenar pointed out that Erdogan seeks to consecrate the authoritarian regime in the country after he has taken control of all state facilities and agencies, asserting that he has eliminated all individual and political freedoms and human rights.
Since the 2016 coup attempt, the Erdogan regime has launched a crackdown targeting its opponents, including all sectors. The crackdown resulted in the arrest of about 80,000 people awaiting trial, including many journalists, in addition to the dismissal or suspension of work for about 150,000 others in the various civil and military institutions in the country.
