Turkish MP: Erdogan Provoked Terrorism in Syria, Provided Support for Terrorists

ANKARA, (ST)- The Turkish Regime’s President Recepe Tayyib Erdogan and its former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu are fully responsible for the terrorism hitting Syria, Member of the Turkish Parliament Umit Ozdag has stressed.

“This terrorism is now targeting Turkey after Syria,”Ozdag said, referring to the terrorist attacks which rocked Istanbul and other Turkish cities.

He pointed out that Erdogan, who is talking about fighting terrorists in Turkey should remember first that he is the one who provoked terrorism in Syria and provided all forms of support to the terrorist organizations there.

Earlier, Kamal Kilicdaroglu, leader of the Turkish Republican People’s Party, had affirmed that Erdogan’s policies were based on hatred, revenge and treachery which are the motives that characterized his policy towards Syria.

He reiterated that only the return of normal ties with Syria can solve the  problems facing Turkey in terms of terrorism threat.

Today, at least four people have been killed after a powerful car bomb attack hit a police station in the southeastern province of Mardin on Wednesday, according to Turkish security sources.

The attack, a day after 11 people were killed in a bombing in Istanbul, targeted the police station in the town of Midyat, north of the Syrian border.
