The Turkish Ministry of Defense has expressed its rejection of Israeli attacks on Syrian territory, stating that these air operations destabilize Syria.
According to Anadolu Agency, sources from the ministry said in response to journalists’ questions during the conclusion of its weekly press briefing today: “Ankara rejects the air operations carried out by Israel in Syria,” adding that “these airstrikes only serve to destabilize Syria. As many other countries have done, the United Nations has also condemned the Israeli attacks on Syria and called for them to stop.”
The sources pointed out that Turkish coordination activities continue with all parties in Syria, within the framework of a request from the new Syrian government.
