Turkish intelligence rebuilds ‘Jaish al-Fatah’ in north of Syria

The Turkish intelligence rebuilds the Jaish al-Fatah [the army of the conquest] in the north of Syria after it has been armed by the U.S. and Saudi Arabia to engage in the southern Aleppo countryside battle, the Beirut-based al-Mayadeen Television channel reported Saturday.

It clarified that the Saudi Sheikh Abdullah al-Mohesni recruits persons, mostly children, in Idleb countryside and its camps.

In this context, the Damascus-based al-Watan newspaper said Thursday that the Turkish President RacepTayyip Erdogan failed to merge the fighters of the Jaish al-Fatah in Idleb and Aleppo in accordance with a plan drawn up last month in Ankara, Riyadh and Doha.

Large numbers of the Jaish al-Fatah fighters in Idleb took part in the recent clashes in Aleppo city.

Well over 300 gunmen, out of 3000 ones,  were killed during clashes with the Syrian army units at the western gates of Aleppo city.

The clashes have been described as the fiercest since the gunmen captured the eastern side of Aleppo city in 2012.

It is worthy to note that the al-Nusra Front [Jabhat al-Nusra] leads the Jaish al-Fata militias in Idleb.
