Turkish-backed terrorists cut down hundred of olive trees in Afrin, Aleppo

Hundreds of olive trees in the occupied Syrian city of Afrin in Aleppo were cut down by the Turkish-backed terrorist groups within the framework of these groups’ attacks in civilians and their properties in Aleppo northern countryside.

Terrorists affiliated to the Turkish-backed “Failaq Al-Sham” terror group cut down 400 olive trees from an olive grove in the village of Kafr Nabu in Afrin city, northwest of Aleppo, local sources told SANA.

The trees are to be transferred to the Turkish territories where they will be sold to Turkish brokers and wood traders, the sources said.

Meanwhile in the town of Tadif, northeastern of Aleppo, local sources said that terrorists of the Turkish-backed “Abu Bakri Mu’az” and “Ghurfet Azem” groups chopped down the olive trees in this area with the aim of selling their olives crop and wood. These groups also seized several houses and destroyed their roofs in order to steal the iron from them. They transferred the stolen iron to certain stores for looted materials in preparation for selling it  to Turkish brokers.
