Turkish and Norwegian foreign ministers stress the importance of completely lifting sanctions on Syria
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and his Norwegian counterpart Espen Barth Eide stressed the importance of completely lifting sanctions on Syria.
Anadolu Agency quoted Fidan as saying, during a press conference today with Barth Eide at the Turkish Foreign Ministry headquarters in the capital, Ankara, that he and his Norwegian counterpart “agreed on the importance of completely lifting sanctions on Syria, and that they share a desire for Syria to become a stable and prosperous country that does not harbor terrorist organizations and does not become a source of irregular migration.”
The Turkish Foreign Minister noted that “Norway has been sending humanitarian aid to Syria for a long time, and that it finds this extremely valuable in terms of establishing stability and security in Syria.”
