Turkish Aggression on Afrin Forces Hundreds of Families to Flee Their Homes

ALEPPO- Six civilians were martyred and others were injured, including children, due to the Turkish continued aggression on Afrin city in the northern countryside of Aleppo, SANA reported.

SANA’s reporter in Aleppo said that Turkish forces and its mercenaries of terrorist groups continued heavy shelling the city of Afrin, targeting the densely populated city center, claiming the lives of six civilians and injuring 26 others, children among them.

 Hundreds of families were forced to flee their homes in search of safety due to the intense Turkish bombardment on the city which also caused massive material damage to public and private properties.

Since launching its assault on Afrin on Jan 20, more than 1000 civilians were martyred or injured in addition to the displacement of hundreds of families and the destruction of tens of villages and towns.
