Turkey Warns Against Israeli Actions in Syria, Citing Risks to Regional Stability and Counterterrorism Efforts
The Turkish foreign minister told Reuters: “Turkey does not want a confrontation with Israel in Syria. The Israeli attacks undermine the new Syrian government’s ability to deter ISIS and other threats.”
“If Syria wants to achieve certain understandings with Israel, that is its business. Israel’s actions in Syria are paving the way for future regional instability.” He added.
