Turkey holds Israel responsible for threatening regional security

The Turkish Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the provocative statements made by Israeli ministers, considering them a reflection of their current state of mind.

It questioned why Israel was disturbed by the positive developments in Syria and Lebanon, which herald peace and stability in the region.

It emphasized that Israel has become the greatest threat to the region’s security with its ongoing attacks on countries’ territories and national unity, noting that the recent Israeli raids on Syrian sites reflect its approach of fueling conflict.

The Foreign Ministry called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in halting the escalating Israeli aggression.
