Turkey commits war crimes in Syria, says European Parliament deputy

Prague, (ST) – The Czech deputy in the European Parliament, Ivan David, confirmed that the Turkish regime committed war crimes in Syria.

In a comment posted on his Facebook account, David stressed the position taken by Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurtz and his refusal to shake hands with the head of the Turkish regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, against the background of the crimes of the latter’s occupation forces to parts of Syrian territories during the recent European Union conference in Turkey.

On the other hand, David pointed out that Kurtz clearly expressed that the Turkish regime is exploiting the Turkish citizens who live in Europe to achieve its personal purposes and said that, “Finally, a senior European official has taken  a position  due to the extent of the threats the Turkish regime poses to Europe.”
