Turkey Calls for Regional and International Support for Syria Amid Rising Terrorist Threats, Urges Kurdish Rights in New Damascus Agreement

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said: “Syria needs the help of neighboring countries and the international community . Terrorist organizations are trying to exploit the situation in Syria, and this is what we discussed during our visit to Damascus.”

“In Damascus, we discussed the agreement between the SDF and the Syrian government and conveyed our concerns about the matter.” He added.
The Turkish Minister went on to stress, “The recent events in Syria are not the first and will not be the last, and it is likely that we will witness new provocations.
We expect Damascus to give the Kurds their rights and in return the Terrorist Structure in the region must be dissolved, “he said.
