Turkey Announces Hosting a Tripartite Meeting with Syria and Jordan – Affirms Support for the Syrian Government
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that tomorrow, the capital, Ankara, will host a tripartite meeting that will include the foreign ministers of Turkey, Syria, and Jordan to enhance cooperation and coordination among the three countries.
According to sources from the Turkish ministry, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will reaffirm Turkey’s strong support for the Syrian government’s efforts to strengthen security and stability.He will also emphasize the necessity of halting Israel’s aggressive policies towards Syria and other countries in the region, as well as the importance of regional cooperation to resolve issues.
Fidan will also stress that cooperation between Syria and its neighboring countries in combating terrorism will contribute to strengthening regional and global security.
The sources added that the tripartite meeting will address shared challenges and emphasize the need to make efforts within the framework of “solutions to regional problems,” highlighting the importance of solidarity among neighboring countries on this issue.
In addition to the tripartite meeting, Fidan is expected to hold bilateral meetings with his Syrian and Jordanian counterparts.
