Turkey 4th Exporter of Goods to “Zionist entity”, Says Turkish Daily

TEHRAN,(ST)-A Turkish daily reported that following the straining of Turkey- Israel relations after the killing of Turk citizens in flotilla attack, Turkey and Israel have resumed their former relations secretly, according to MNA.

According to Mehr News Agency, Turkish daily Yeni Asya wrote yesterday that Turkey- Israel relation is resuming its former path behind the closed doors; deployment of missile shield radar in Kürecik military base in Malatya, a southern province has a definite objective: defending Israel against Iran. Other cooperation includes Patriot deployment near borders with Syria.

Al Alam, the Arabic TV news network, reported that a bridge over the sea connects İskenderun harbor to Haifa port  and facilitates transport of trucks from Turkey to Occupied Territories, Jordan, and other Gulf countries.

The bridge was constructed after Turkey closed its borders with Syria, and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, prime minister, criticized Egypt over the country’s position on invasion of Gaza, and Ahmet Davutoğlu cried for the victims in Gaza visit.

Yeni Asya revealed that Hakan Fidan, head of Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MİT) had meetings with head of Musad to boost intelligence cooperation with “Israel”.

Yeni Asya also wrote that Erdoğan criticizes “Israel”, and at the same time, holds secret diplomatic and intelligence meetings with “Israel”. A 58-per cent rise in Israeli exports to Turkey and 42-per cent rise in Turkey export to “Israel” have made Turkey the 4th largest exporter to “Israel”.
