Tunisian president relieves three governors of their posts

Tunisia (ST): Tunisian President Kais Saied relieved three governors of their posts. The Tunisian News Agency reported that Said issued presidential decisions to end the assignment of the governors of Monastir, Medenine and Zaghouan.

Tunisian regions have recently witnessed massive demonstrations against the practices of the Brotherhood’s Ennahda movement, as mass demonstrations took place in the cities of El Kef, Kairouan, Gafsa, Sousse, Bizerte and Sfax, to demand the dissolution of the movement, while demonstrators attacked its headquarters, stressing that it bears responsibility for the deteriorating economic conditions and the failure to confront the outbreak of the Corona epidemic.
