Tunisian President after taking the constitutional oath: We limitlessly support the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples

Tunis (ST) – Tunisian President Kais Saied renewed his country’s support for the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples in confronting the Israeli aggression against them.

The Tunisian News Agency quoted Saied as saying in a speech after taking the constitutional oath for a second presidential term lasting 5 years: “We stand without limits with all oppressed peoples, first and foremost are the Palestinian people until they regain their full rights and establish their independent state on all the land of Palestine with Al-Quds as its capital, and we also stand without conditions with the brotherly Lebanese people.”

The elected Tunisian president stressed his rejection of any normalization with the criminal Zionist occupation entity that usurps Arab lands, saying: “We do not have the term normalization with the usurping and criminal entity, the Zionist entity.”

Saied considered that the elected Tunisian representatives had thwarted plans that agents of global Zionism had drawn up and defined with the aim of achieving them, pointing to his keenness to cooperate with Tunisia’s brothers and friends on the basis of common interests and full equality.

Saied promised to confront and quickly overcome the many challenges in the country, the first of which is combating terrorism and confronting corruption.

“There is no place in Tunisia for anyone who does not work to achieve the hopes and legitimate demands of its people, and there is no place for anyone who disrupts the normal functioning of public facilities, and he will not remain without accountability or punishment”, Saied stressed.

On the 11th of this month, the Independent High Authority for Elections in Tunisia announced the victory of candidate and current president Kais Saied for a second term after obtaining 90,69 percent of the total votes in the presidential elections in the country.
