Tunisian Parties Voice Solidarity with Syria in Battle against Takfiri Terrorism

 TUNIS, (ST)- Tunisian national parties and forces have voiced their solidarity with Syria in its battle against Zionist takfiri terrorism and against all conspirators and their tools.

A statement issued on Tuesday by the Tunisian parties and forces said that “Syria has been the target of international terrorist aggression being launched by the new Ottoman regime in Turkey and by the Saudi regime and other gulf countries upon orders from the United States and its western allies using in this aggression thousands of terrorists and mercenaries from all over the world as to destroy Syria.”

 “Aggressors were angered by the Syrian Arab Army’s victories over terrorism in several Syrian areas, therefore they sought escalating terrorist attacks against civilians in Aleppo; attacks that are being carried out by “Deash” and “Jabhat al-Nusra” and  their affiliated terrorist groups called by America “moderate opposition”, the statement said, adding that anti-Syria media outlets keep reporting lies and misleading information as to distort facts about what is really going on in Syria.

Syria has become an international symbol for combating terrorism

The statement went on to say that ” Syria has become an international symbol for combating terrorism, rejecting foreign interference and adherence to national unity.” It stressed that Syrian army’s victories and the steadfastness of the Syrian people have shocked the aggressors and conspirators, who wanted to destroy the Syrian state, and confused them to the degree that they ordered their terrorist tools to escalate their terrorist activities particularly in Aleppo.

“The Tunisian people and their national forces condemn the crimes committed by the terrorist organizations against civilians in Syria, stress their determination to keep fighting terrorism and uncovering its supporters and voice solidarity with the Syrian army, people and leadership in the face of takfiri terrorism,” the statement concluded.

The statement was signed by several Tunisian national parties and movements including the “National Struggle Movement Party”, the Tunisian Association for Tolerance, The People’s Movement, the Unity Party, The Youth Forum for Combating Imperialism and Zionism among others.
