The United States imposed tariffs on most countries around the world, including Syria, with new tariffs of 41%.
The “Al-Nashra” website reported that the list of new US tariffs affected Arab countries as follows:
Algeria: 30%, Bahrain: 10%, Djibouti: 10%, Egypt: 10%, Iraq: 39%, Jordan: 20%, Kuwait: 10%, Lebanon: 10%, Libya: 31%, Mauritania: 10%, Morocco: 10%, Oman: 10%, Qatar: 10%, Saudi Arabia: 10%, Somalia: 10%, Sudan: 10%, Syria: 41%, Tunisia: 28%, UAE: 10%, Yemen: 10%.
US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday the imposition of new tariffs targeting 180 countries around the world to “protect” the US economy and punish countries that treat it unfairly.
