Trump continues blackmail policy; Saudi Arabia paid a billion dollars for the presence of additional US forces on its soil

US President Donald Trump continued his financial blackmail policy towards the Saudi regime in exchange for protection, revealing in this context that the Saudi regime paid a billion dollars for the presence of additional American forces on its soil.

Washington had announced earlier that it would send 3 thousand additional US soldiers and military equipment, including Patriot missiles, the Thad system, and combat aircraft, to Saudi Arabia.

“I told the Saudis that they have a very rich country and they have to pay for the additional forces”, Trump said in an interview with the American Fox News channel on Saturday, “The Saudis have already deposited one billion dollars with us”.

American media also criticized Trump’s policy which is based on interests and in which he abuses his position to consolidate his influence to achieve more personal wealth.  New York Times had earlier confirmed that Trump is using his position as President of the United States to serve his personal interests and cooperating with politicians and regimes to achieve this goal.
