Tribal gathering in Qamishli countryside on the occasion of the Army Day

On August 1st, the tribesmen in the countryside of Qamishli gathered  in the village of Kharab Askar to celebrate on the occasion of the Syrian Arab Army’s Day.

During the gathering, a tribute was paid to more than fifty families of the martyrs.

The Sheikh of the Bani Sabaa clan, a member of the People’s Assembly, Sheikh Hamid Al-Asaad, said: “This honor comes on the occasion of the Syrian Arab Army’s Day and in recognition of the value of the sacrifices made by the martyrs for the sake of the homeland.”

The family of the martyr Saadoun Muhammad, one of the honorable families, expressed its pride in what the martyrs offered in order to preserve the unity of Syria.

The family said: “The homeland is a mother and its call must be met, and that their son offered his pure blood for the sake of Syria’s strength, pride and independence.”

At the end of the ceremony and the honoring, the notables of the Bani Sabaa clan affirmed that there is no alternative to the Syrian state and the Syrian Arab Army.
