“To Sweida city with love from Russia”

Sweida (ST) Under the title of “ To Sweida city with love from Russia” The Syrian Russian Business Council organized an event to distribute 55 Tons of food material for 1000 families who were badly affected by the terrorist war launched against Syria.

A number of citizens who benefitted from this aid expressed thanks and gratitude to Russia underlining the importance of the initiative organized by the Syrian Russian Business Council to support needy citizens.

Sweida governor Humam Sadek Dibeyat said in a press statement that the initiative reflects the depth of the friendship relations linking Syria and Russia, and it carries a message that the peoples in the two countries are united in confrontation of all kinds of pressure and terrorism, especially in light of the economic war being launched on Syria that targets the livelihood of Syrian people.

In turn, President of the Syrian Russian Business Council Dr. Lo’ai Yousef said that the event is the ninth as similar events were held in other governorates, noting that it would continue next year.
