To facilitate the return of displaced people to the city of Al-Hajar Al-Aswad, a new school reopened after rehabilitation
To facilitate the return of the displaced people to the city of Al-Hajar Al-Aswad in Damascus countryside , the Martyr Ahmed Zaal Fadel School for Basic Education was reopened today, after it was restored and rehabilitated from the damage it was subjected to as a result of terrorism.
Minister of Education Muhammad Amer Al-Mardini said in a statement to SANA that the return of students to their seats in school indicates the victory of the Syrian people over all forms of terrorism that sought to demolish schools and spread ignorance.
He noted the efforts of the teams that worked to restore and reopen the school despite the difficult economic conditions.
The Governor of Quneitra, Engineer Moataz Abu Al-Nasr affirmed that opening the school contributes to facilitating the return of families to their homes from which they were displaced to various areas due to terrorism.
The opening included an art exhibition of the school’s students’ works, which included 300 handicrafts, in addition to dance performances and a planting campaign in the school’s garden.
