Three Israeli military boats violate Lebanese waters

BEIRUT, (ST)_Three Israeli military boats violated Lebanese territorial waters off the cost of al-Naqoura and their crew turned on sirens and fired bombs in the region, according to the Lebanese army command.

The army command said in a statement released on Tuesday that Israeli violations are being followed up in coordination with UNIFIL command.

Lebanon has reiterated its right to regain the Israeli-held territorial waters estimated to be around 2500 square kilometers; however, the Israeli enemy, backed by the US administrations, insists on occupying a considerable part of the Lebanese area.

It is worth noting that the Israeli enemy has continued violating the Lebanese airspace and waters , challenging the concerned international resolutions, especially 1701.
