Three soldiers killed in Benghazi clashes

Three soldiers were killed and 10 wounded in clashes between Libyan troops and radical militiamen in the eastern city of Benghazi, state media reported on Monday, according to Voice of Russia.

The official LANA news agency reported that clashes began Sunday evening between army forces and members of the jihadist Ansar al-Sharia group.

Libya’s post-revolution rulers have been struggling to assert authority and re-establish security amid a proliferation of weapons and militias.
