Three Russian servicemen injured in a blast in north Syria

At least three Russian servicemen were injured as an explosive device detonated near their armored car in Ayn al-Arab area in the northeastern countryside of Aleppo, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

“The incident occurred on Monday when an improvised explosive device detonated during regular joint patrols by Turkish and Russian forces near Ayn al-Arab in Aleppo province,” the ministry said in a statement.

The servicemen were provided with medical assistance and they are out of danger, the ministry said.
