Three Palestinians martyred and dozens injured by Israeli occupation bullets in Jenin

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): Three Palestinians were martyred and dozens injured by Israeli occupation forces’ bullets during their storming of the city of Jenin in the West Bank last night.

Wafa Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed the Jenin camp, surrounded two houses and bombed them with several missiles, which led to the death of three Palestinians and the injury of 30 others, including some with  critical injuries, while ambulances and medical teams were prevented from reaching the injured.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian presidency renewed its call on the international community to assume its responsibilities and take immediate action to stop the escalating crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and hold those responsible accountable.

Presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeina explained in a statement reported by Wafa Agency today that the occupation forces are escalating their violations and crimes against the Palestinians, the most recent of which was the occupation forces’ aggression against the Gaza Strip and the city of Jenin and its camp, which led to the martyrdom of four Palestinians and the injury of dozens, including serious injuries.

Abu Rudeina stressed that the Palestinian people are the holders of the right and will not allow their sanctities and principles to be violated at any cost, calling at the same time for providing international protection for the Palestinian people.

In turn, Palestinian Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh warned of the serious repercussions of the occupation’s crimes in Jenin and the besieged Gaza Strip, calling on the United Nations and international human rights organizations to intervene to bring the perpetrators to justice.
