Syria’s national team player, Muhammad Ali Nashwati, won three medals, two gold and a bronze, in the military pentathlon competition at the Military Games currently being held in Russia.
Nashwati won the gold medal in the 500-meter hurdles and the same in the 8 km run. He also won the overall bronze in the military pentathlon.
The balance of our team in the tournament has risen to 6 medals so far, as swimming Inana Suleiman won the bronze in the 200 meters medley and the bronze in the 200 meters backstroke, while the player of our team, Aya Al Rahiya, won the silver medal in the athletics competitions in the 400 meters race.
