Provinces (ST): Three Emirati planes arrived today at the international airports of Damascus, Latakia and Aleppo, carrying relief aid for those affected by the earthquake that hit Syria on the 6th of this month.
From Damascus International Airport, news correspondent explained that an Emirati aid plane arrived this morning, carrying 99 tons and 360 kilograms of food and relief supplies, clothing, tissues, and medical masks.
An Emirati plane loaded with aid also arrived at Latakia International Airport, which the Director of Lattakia Airport, Eng. Zeyad al-Taweel said that it carries 28 tons of food stuffs.
An Emirati plane arrived at Aleppo International Airport carrying 22 tons of foodstuffs and blankets.
Meanwhile, a Russian aid convoy arrived at the Martyr Ibrahim Naama National Hospital in Jableh, which includes various medical equipment and medicines to provide relief to those injured in the earthquake.
The deputy director of medical services at the Russian Hmeimim base, Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Niko Laevich, said in a statement that the Russian aid is continuing for those affected by the earthquake, pointing to the presence of other batches in the coming days to Hama governorate.
