Three children wounded in blast of an explosive device in the east of Daraa

An explosive device, placed by terrorists in a plastic box, exploded on Saturday near Al-Kherbeh roundabout at the eastern entrance of Daraa province, causing injuries to three children who were playing in this area, according to the Head of Daraa Police Command, Brigadier General Dirar Al-Dandal.

The wounded children were taken to Daraa National Hospital to receive necessary medical treatment, Al-Dandal added.

He went on to say that explosive materials and detonators, planted in concrete building blocks, were found during search operations in the area around the entrance to the city which is a residential and commercially active area.

Some terrorist cells that were active in a number of areas in Daraa countryside before the Syrian army liberated this area try now and then to undermine security in the province by different means.
