Thomas Massie admits the involvement of the United States in the coup against the legitimate government in Ukraine in 2014

Washington,(ST)- Republican Party member of the US House of Representatives Thomas Massie admitted that the United States was involved in the fabricated coup against the legitimate government of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in 2014.

Massie said in a television interview with journalist Tucker Carlson on the American Fox News Channel: “In 2014, we helped overthrow the elected government of Ukraine and imposed sanctions on Russia.

“I warned at the time that these decisions would have consequences, and, in fact, that happened,” he added.

American politician Richard Black had previously revealed the involvement of American and British intelligence in the events in Ukraine in 2014. Richard Black said that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was planning to drag Russia into a war in Eastern Europe in order to reach its borders.

Black clarified that the Ukrainian crisis would not have occurred had it not been for the coup supported by Washington.

Black stressed  that the Minsk Agreement was drawn up for the sake of the Donetsk and Lugansk republics in Donbass and to calm the crisis, but Ukraine, represented by the government of Vladimir Zelensky did not implement the agreement and launched a war against the residents of Donbass and killed 14,000 of them.
